Hi all, I decided to use the Trash for a while when deleting messages.
I have the option to 'mark deleted messages as read' enabled in the accounts delete options. Despite this, I would quickly look at a message which is marked as read as I do so and then delete it, only to see the message appear in my trash marked as unread. I select the trash folder and the message is suddenly marked read. The same happens with multiple deletes. All the messages seem to marked unread since the Trash's unread message count is the same as the total number of messages.
