If it's really needed to be able to drag it to another place, then I
concede the need for the label in its text box.

But I don't see why you'd want to do that.

Additionally, the feature is not working well for me. When I dragged
the pane out, it did not stay external to the Edit window on my
Desktop. Instead, it popped into the horizontal position occupied by
the Preview Pane (I don't use the Preview Pane, so it wasn't visible,
if that might be significant.)

There was no text box on it at that point with which to drag it to its
former position.

However, when I closed the Edit Mail Message window, and then opened
another and attached a file, the Attachments Pane appeared in the
position I prefer it in, left of the message body.
