I never used Quick Search before. Just don't need it, though I know that others do. The issue here is the disappearing letters. The nonsense words that I typed were erased, in one case from four letters back to one letter, and then the search began on that letter. In the other, from seven letters--all I could get down before the erasing began--back to in one instance two letters, "ab" and in the other "a". You're saying this is normal, for the letters to be erased after being typed? The erasing takes place right to left. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.60.03 Forerunner (Beta) on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.60.03 forerunner | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
