I am using still KAV4.5 as it is the only version I find the
configuration possibilities I expect.

Was it not the same way in the "old" klav.exe plugin?

Does Kaspersky not say where this bat*.tmp file is located? Comes this
message for sure from the plugin? or it is not the on-acces-monitor of
Kaspersky? Try to disable it or exclude all bat*.tmp files in Temp
directory.

Not certain that this is a bug in the plugin. Maybe the monitor and
its particular configuration prevents the plugin to access the
infected eMails (see above).
