Yes. I know they are, but I'm referring to how TB! displays what it has done locally. In Mulberry, a strike through occurs. In TB! the message is removed from the Index file and hence disappears from the list. Unfortunately, if something goes wrong with the IMAP command being sent and applied server side, the message remains removed from the local caches index file, but no deletion has occurred on the server. I've experienced this many times. Another possibility is expunging. You compress locally and the corresponding expunge command is sent. Something goes wrong with the expunge command and the messages aren't expunged. However, the messages have been removed from the local cache. This isn't so common for me anymore. However, it still happens. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better if the server action is sent and verified prior to actions being performed on the local cache. > It can't be beyond the capabilities of a team who gave us > smilies in the text, colour groups etc to do this, surely? This is what I'm thinking too. <shrug> I can only speculate though. -- -= Curtis=- Using TB! v3.61.03 beta System Specs: http://specs.aimlink.name =-=-= ...I've taken a vow of poverty.
