OK, here are some pictures. First picture "Mail Download" is a
screenshot of the CC while downloading mail from a group of accounts.
You will notice that even though the IMAP account is selected I can
see the progress of the other accounts. It lets me know that
everything is working.

If I need more detail I can select a specific account, say MTS-Check
Mail, and see the header info of the current mail that is downloading
and the progress of an individual e-mail.

In the second screenshot, "Mail Dispatch", with the same IMAP account
selected, I can only see that there are 142 messages in the account to
be dispatched. At no time does this display change until all messages
have been dispatched and then they all pop up. Again if I want more
detail I can select the account and see it on the bottom, but as I so
naively demonstrated, if you do not realize that the account you are
dispatching is not selected you will not any progress and may wonder
what is going on, especially if you have a lot of message on the
server.

It just seems to me that it is inconsistent. BTW this only happens
when you have an IMAP account that stays connected all the time. If
you don't have IMAP then when you dispatch mail there is only one
active account and you can see what is happening.

And also Curtis' good friend Jasper agrees with me again. :)))
