If this is what you're referring to, then I experience this a lot. Because of this, I tend to exit TB! whenever I'm finished with it for any extended period. I don't leave it running all the time since this only leads to problems with the connection and synching etc. The IMAP connection isn't not stable over long periods. With the policy of not leaving TB! running for long periods, I haven't had problems.
