As I wrote: I'm not an expert.
The number 1 in slowing down my computer (not by using much memory, but by
simply doing what it is supposed to do) is ............. The Bat! Each time
it is checking for mail, all other applications freeze.
I can only say that I don't have the feeling that MZ slows down my computer.
When I have more free time, I'll try to disable it and see how that affects
my computer's behaviour.
Actually I'm rather curious to see how long it will take then before Windows
2000 releases the memory that's being used at startup. When booting only
44 MB of my 512 MB is left...
