Well, it is not what you want, but it is what you ask for, literally.
If the messages are not moved to trash, they cannot be deleted from
trash, and thus are not deleted on the server.

(OT: Reminds me of John Cleese as a school teacher in The Meaning Of
Life... ;-) )

By all means, there should be the option to delete messages on server
when deleted from Junk, too. After all, the function of the Junk
folder is obvious, so it is consequent to treat it like the trash
folder. Someone should post a respective wish to BT.
