This never works for me, the rest of the jobs in the queue will just stay there and hang too. Killing them all, disconnecting and reconnecting to the IMAP server usually works. But even that sometimes doesn't help, and then I have to restart The Bat completely. (Anyway, this point is becoming a bit moot for me, as I've switched to Thunderbird.)
