If your virtual folder template is really "* foldername*", that is probably
the reason of folder' invisibility. The name template should contain "%Name"
variable (with percent sign), i.e., it should be "* %Name *". I prefer
square brackets instead of stars and use "[%Name]" as the folder name
template. This template is defined in account properties and makes possible
visual differences between folders assigned to different templates.

Names of common virtual folders are defined in program preferences (menu
Options | Preferences). Their name templates should also contain %Name
variable. These folders are located within the folder tree on
the same level as accounts.
