I am not sure what you mean?
I mean that if there's a solution to this request that works in other IMAP-capable mailers, why not introduce it? After all, it's been asked for. I just feel that a TB! specific work around involving tabs etc is confusing and not necessary.
IMO they _should_ implement crossed though messages - but as an option, the trash folder being another option.

I saw that after the message was sent. For some reason Thunderbird stripped it.
