But if you reconsider and want to test it, once you open scheduler select 'Repeating tasks' on the panel above the calendar. Then, on the right panel, which should be blank for you as you have no scheduled tasks, just right click and select New from the context menu. It may also help if you are not too lazy and take a look at HELP/Scheduler. Believe it or nor it does explain how it works and what you can do with it.
