Just follow this (I modified the reproduction line) and you will see:

- select a folder (X) with some mails
- close the account containing X in your account tree by clicking on
the - sign before the account name, so it will change to +
- select a message list tab that is not "All"
- select "All" tab

You will see X's mails in your message list pane... If you want,
expand the account containing X in your account tree by clicking on
the + sign before the account name, so it will change to -. Folder X
is not selected, still you can see its mails...
