There's no reason whatsoever why could not zip encrypted files. Makes
your backup only more secure as you'd still need your password to read
the files in the backup. With this I presume that you want to backup
to your own computer. You wouldn't want to place your backup on
another system or on the same USB stick as your copy of voyager, would
you?
