But with computers usually having at least 512MB of physical memory, I think its not that important (with 512MB DDR RAM being sold for something like 40 or so at the moment) anymore. If RAM were still so very expensive, we wouldn't be using TheBat!. ;-) Whats more problematic is the slow but permanent fragmentation of the registry files (as you install and uninstall programs). Windows XP differs from 2000 here and partly avoids that. And then there's tools like "ERUNT" to optimize the registry. If your Windows installation feels like getting old and slow, it may help. -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de - ICQ 238153981) Man is so made that all his true delight arises from the contemplation of mystery, and save by his own frantic and invincible folly mystery is never taken from him; it rises within his soul as a well of joy unending. -- Vincent Starrett ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.63.06 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
