Hello tbbeta,

I originally thought that this was something new, but checking find
it goes back at least to 3.70.03 (the earliest version I still had
around) and perhaps earlier. I didn't notice it until today when I
went looking for one of my sent mails.

I have two accounts, 'miked(1)' and 'miked(2)' Most of the generic
stuff uses miked(2) but miked(1) is the first one in the account
  list.

What I noticed is that when I reply to a message that is in one of
the respective "inbox" folders, everything works as expected. The
message copy shows up in the appropriate "Sent" box.

However I noticed a "problem" when I reply to a message that has
been 'filtered' to a "top" level folder. Most of the folders have
been set to use the miked(2) email address, and that is the address
that is in the messages when I reply. However, when I send them,
they seem to be going through the miked(1) account even though they
have the miked(2) address. At least I find the copy in the "Sent"
folder for the miked(1) account instead of the expected miked(2)
  "Sent" folder.

Is this a known behavior? Is it a bug or is it a
limitation/feature? It is certainly not a show stopper, but it does
  seem strange to me.

  TIA
