I did as Charlene tried, through the WinRAR program. It worked OK. I sent a RAR to myself and decoded fine. However, I just again tried the Brother's 640_MFC Scanner/Fax and it has output to email. I select TB! and a blank email comes up that I address. There is still no attachment even after mailed. And, again, Outlook Express works OK with this method of the "Brother Printer" ... a flaw in TB! Or improper coding from The Brother Corporation? I researched my own archives. When I use 3.63.08 then I can cause any attachment to be sent with an email when controlled from my Scanner. I scanned a page and made a PDF and TB36308 made an email with the PDF. I did the same with scanning a page to make a jpeg and TB36308 made the email with the jpeg attached. This is then a TB bug ... more correctly, something in TBBETA realm. Fledermaus programmers? Are you there? -- Regards, Robert D. :flag-us-ky: _________________________ The Bat!
