Here the first time all my customization were lost. Then I opened the bat
again and do some minor customizations. After restarting the bat I noticed
that these changes were kept!

I kept a copy of tbuser.eef (I'm using OTFE) and did some customizations. I
restarted the bat and all went fine. I kept again a copy of tbuser.eef and
then did again customizations. The next time all customizations were lost!

I copied back the tbuser.eef and redo the optimizations I did on the last
step. This time the changes were saved!

Definitely there is something wrong. The problem is that I cannot pinpoint
what is the problem since the same steps the first time "corrupt" the
tbuser.eef and the second time work like a charm!

The only advise I have to give to anyone is to make little changes a time and
every time that the changes are kept have a backup of tbuser.def (or
tbuser.eef if OFTE). If something went wrong, replace the tbuser.def with the
backup. Chances are that this time the changes will be kept!
