Hello tbbeta-request, The problem described below is not related to any particular beta; anyway, I think that posting it here could provide some useful feedback.
As we know, TB supports Simple MAPI, and does that by replacing the mapi32.dll with its own copy developed by RITLabs. However, this setup is unusable for owners of Windows Mobile 5 powered handhelds who have to use ActiveSync 4.x (previous versions of ActiveSync do not cause problems but are not compatible with WM 5). When trying to install Active Sync 4.1 on a system where the mapi32.dll was replaced by TB, the installation completely fails with an error. There is no other way to resolve this unless you run the fixmapi.exe utility from %WINDIR%\system32, that restores the original dll. This, obviously, disables the MAPI support in TheBat. Another problem is that TheBat does not have any built-in way to restore the original dll. -- Best regards, shirshin mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.72.05 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
