This is what I think, too. It's a little disconcerting to see the
cursor change shape over text in this way, and for me it is a little
harder to see it as I move it along to select text.

I guess I can get used to it if it isn't returned to the behavior it
had prior to v. 3.72.08, but I would prefer it as it was before.
