Hi Robert D.,

you let us know -possibly edited- :

I tried it with an attachment of 38 megs (my limit is 20 megs for the
target mail address), TB ran smoothly until it reached the last byte. TB
hesitated for a moment and I got my first AV in this RC. Here the details:

---------------------------
The Bat!
---------------------------
Access violation at address 00404B1C in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of address
0000FFDB.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Transmission stopped, my connection was idle but still established.
After confirming the AV, I was unable to restart TB. Nothing would
happen. I launched task manager and found a rest of TB in the process
list, for me the culprit for the start refusal. I unloaded TB's "post
mortem" process and started again.

I pressed Ctrl+Shift+A to view the log. To my surprise I found:

> 5.2.3 {mp015} Message too large (37 MB, 39774401 bytes). Maximum of 20
> MB (20971520 bytes) allowed

Seems that the refusal of the recipient's provider made my bat stumble.
Anyway: It is not the sending itself nor the mail size.
