Hi Ben Allen, Saturday, April 29, 2006 you let us know -possibly edited- :
> I dont think it is. I don't have IMAP. I don't use OFTE. Yet if I > select large folders the search is slow, and the stopping even slower. Slower than 5 seconds or slower 1 minute 40 seconds in your case? I am quite sure it is IMAP related, since excluding the search in my single IMAP account increases speed and especially the reaction on "stop" command enormously. My IMAP account has only a few text mails, I use it mainly for testing TB, I can't imagine that it is the size that matters here, plowing through such a tiny folder shouldn't slow down TB. Yet it does. Are we speaking of a real large mailbase in your case? Wait a minute... I ran another search on text "TBBETA" across all accounts and folders except the IMAP one, tried to stop it and had to wait again for a longer time to see it react. Strange. Yesterday I searched for "beta" in text and had more luck: it wasn't unstoppable at all. I have no idea on that, not this afternoon. Off to have a little fresh air outside :) See you all some hours later :) -- kind regards Charlene Ferrara mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.73 Release Candidate 1 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Skype: charleneferrara ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.73 rc 1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
