I didn't ask for a REAL address...

Anyway, I tried it with this email (not real):
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

It works. It has the same format as what you described. Try to send an
email  to this email address (fake address), and see if your filter is
working.  If  not,  maybe  an other filter gets your mails before this
filter. Move to the first position and try again. But it sure works...

It always has a reason. Is that filter set to be active? What about if
you TEST your filters on the Sent folder?
