Your points are well taken. I do not claim to know the minds of the
people at RitLabs. However, I think if some feature is working in a
release version and then is not working the same way in a beta, it
indicates a problem. Unless the feature is changed and then I would
expect that change to be listed in the change log.

The implication for me at least, is that unless otherwise noted, it is
not working as designed. Just my thoughts.
