Agree and confirmed. As one can see from the account log, The Bat!
opens http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/version.xml , and look
for the latest item in it. The latest now is
http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/tbb38106.rar
but that file is not exist. Why TB! does not give you a message that
there is some problem? Because it does not have sufficient feedback.

I think, this is what TB! does:
- get the XML file
- extract the link to the RAR file
- send the link of the RAR file to the default browser like:
ShellExecute(http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/tbb38106.rar, etc)
and this function only returns an error code, if the browser does not
exist, not if the RAR does not exist...
