Hello Feli, > I went back to .05 and started the utility. The update window opened > and firefox started. The problem is that FF looks for > http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/tbb38106.rar and the beta > isn't there any longer. IMHO it is no FF problem but a link problem.
Agree and confirmed. As one can see from the account log, The Bat! opens http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/version.xml , and look for the latest item in it. The latest now is http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/tbb38106.rar but that file is not exist. Why TB! does not give you a message that there is some problem? Because it does not have sufficient feedback. I think, this is what TB! does: - get the XML file - extract the link to the RAR file - send the link of the RAR file to the default browser like: ShellExecute(http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/tbb38106.rar, etc) and this function only returns an error code, if the browser does not exist, not if the RAR does not exist... -- Vili ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.81.06 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
