My software firewall is Outpost, which I already had configured to Allow the connection, so I didn't hear from it. I told the dialogue that came up after I clicked on "download" in the TB! Update notification window to "Save." Then Opera's "transfer" page appeared. I exited Opera manually (as I always do) when the transfer was completed--it seemed like only a second to me before it was done.
