Hello Everyone! I ran into a special circumstance today where even though the Park icon in the message list of a folder is unticked, The Bat! still seems to think the message is parked.
1) I was cleaning out some folders and messages that I no longer needed, in one of my two POP3 accounts, and selected "Empty" from the folder menu. All the 973 messages except the ones I had Parked immediately went to Trash, as I had set them to do. 2) I unparked the 25 remaining messages and clicked Empty. TB! told me that I had to Unpark them. Same happened when I tried Select All, followed by Delete, from the right-click context menu. 3) So I went to Trash then and emptied the Trash folder. 4) When I came back to the folder with the 25 remaining messages, which I had left showing as unparked (but which TB! said were parked), all 25 were once again marked Parked. So I tried unparking just one message, but TB! would not believe me when I asked it to delete. I then unparked all 25 and tried Empty from the Folder menu. Same info from TB!: that the messages--which were *not* marked Park--were parked. 5) I gave up and went back to my other POP3 account, to check my mail. 6) When I came back to the POP3 account I was previously working with, the folder with the 25 messages showed them still the way I had marked them, as unparked. Tried one more time with Empty, and this worked. The 25 messages immediately were moved to Trash. 7) I then proceeded to clean some old messages out of another folder, but unticking Park for them had the same result described above. I switched to the other POP3 account and back again--and this time, also, I was finally able to empty the folder. I've never seen this behavior described anywhere. I did a search on the word "Park" in my TBBETA folder and found nothing like it. Then I did a search of TB! issues for The Bat! and couldn't find a bug report of anything like this.
