Hi Steven,

This Voyager cannot do any better or worse than TheBat istself. You
can use the Backup-Option, but it requires manual intervention all the
time. (Prepare to go away, make backup on desktop, import on laptop.
Return, make backup on laptop, import on desktop. And hope to heck it
works each time, without any colateral damage.)

What I'm doing instead is to access the same data directory on a
network share both from my desktop(s) and my laptop. On the Laptop,
this directory is also marked as a "Offline Folder" in Windows. This
way, each time I power up my laptop within my LAN the mailbase is
automatically synchronized with the one on the LAN and after I
disconnect the Laptop, I can still use the current version while on
the road.

One problem with this solution is that RIT has intentionally broken
the display options for the column widths in all versions later then
v3.0.1.33. This means that you will have a problem if you use another
screen resolution on your laptop than on your desktop - which, I'd
guess, most people will. Someone on this list suggested a workaround
to me once using tabs and view modes, but unfortunatly this also won't
work because there is a bug in there which RIT also refuses to fix.
This is the reason why I still use v3.0.1.33 myself and probably won't
be able to update any time soon.
