I've said it a million times already: don't look at the Mem Usage column in Task Manager because it's lying. That column shows how much of the program is currently resident in the *physical memory*, which doesn't mean much, especially since the Windows shell (Explorer) forces any program you minimize out of physical memory (this is why you see memory usage "drop" when you minimize programs).
