This very nice feature is IMHO not very well designed from the
interface side. Upon creating new account you have to select "I have
account on this server". This is unneeded -- I believe the feature
should work automatically without any new option to be selected --
this only causes confusion: "what is the difference between this and
that option"?

No. That's wrong. The Bat should determine default settings solely
based on email address given. Note, that the address makes up all the
information needed for this feature to work -- no other actions on
user side should be necessary!

Also note, that in those rare cases, where user needs different
settings than the ones proposed by TB!, he can just type them in,
ignoring proposed defaults -- just as simple as that. Not that I could
imagine a reason to do so, except when a provider changes his settings
for mail retrieval, which is by design a rare action, and causes lots
of pain to everybody anyway.

I suppose, that when this feature is mature and tested, the format of
the file will be presented by the developers, so that everybody can
create custom dsi files.

Another thing: settings file for gmail seems to be wrong. It sets APOP
MD5 authorization for POP3, when it should be left "regular" for gmail
to work (tested on my own account). In gmail.dsi file change
"APOP=true" into "APOP=false".
