Hello All, Those of you who do not use "Antispamsniper for The Bat!" (ASS) may wonder why I am writing to 'TB Beta Requests' about it. This ececellent (IMHO) prograamme appears to have been developed by GoodVein Software with at least some co-operation from Ritlabs. Perhaps Ritlabs intend to include it later with TB, or to recommend it as an option, who knows? Anyway it seems to me that Ritlabs may have some vested interest in the other programme and need to know when it does not work.
At my installation here, ASS worked successfully in TB versions up to 3.96.07, but fails in both 3.96.08 and 3.96.09. The problem seems to be that ASS does not close properly after a mail download has completed, with the result thereafter that its staus is marked as "In error" and it will not run again. To cure the problem I have to shut down and restart the computer and then reinstall ASS.
