I have now discovered that if I do not close TB after a mail download it will successfully do another download later. The problem arises when TB is closed. It has occurred to me that many of you who said that you do not have a problem may have broadband and therefore do not ever close TB. You therefore would not see my problem, I have a dial-up connection and close TB after a download. Please will some of you who have a similar setup to mine (see my signature) try closing TB after a mail download and then try restarting it to see if ASS is still OK, just try accessing the ASS log.
