I can confirm that I have been unable to use MAPI with TB for new email creation for a couple of years now. I had believed it to be connected with a Delphi component I have been using in the software I am writing that needs to use it, but have since changed the component for no improvement in the situation. I have not submitted any reports because I could not quantify it and certainly could not provide a recipe for reproducing the problem. Yes, the written software works perfectly for the customer and creates emails via MAPI exactly as required. Some are even using TB, so it's not a fundamental incompatibility - just something on my setup. The strange thing is that it fails identically on my new brand Vista Ultimate based dual core laptop, so it wasn't just my old machine. At some point, I will get the time to look closer and quantify this issue for the BugTraq.
