Hello all,

I had not paid much attention to the Address History because I though it
was a feature I would never use. But today I had nothing better to do
and decided to take a close look at it and when looking at the Addresses
tab I was somewhat "surprised" to see many names and addresses that
didn't seem 'familiar' at all.

In <mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with Subject: "What's new
in 4.0.0.2", Maxim Masiutin writes:

,----- [ Address History: ]
| You may setup the Address History to keep track of people you are
| messaging with. This way, you may quickly find messages from a
| particular person, know when you or she/he wrote you last time, etc.
| ...
| ...
`-----

Taking a closer look at the "non familiar" addresses, they all belong to
people I am NOT 'messaging with' (as Maxim says). I have not received a
single message from any of them and, of course, I have not written to
any of them either.

Where do this addresses com from then? From the CC Header of 'incoming'
messages. Example: Today I got a message from one of my nieces and she
CCes some other 30 people. If I only reply to my niece, I am ONLY
messaging with my niece and NOT with those other 30 people. Why should
they appear in the address history? I think this is wrong or at least
quite misleading.

I think that ONLY the From address should be tracked for incoming
messages, and both To: and CC: for outgoing.

I did a quick browse of my Addresses tab and by the time I got tired of
browsing I had found at least 150 of these addresses. Addresses of
people I have never exchanged messages with, this is why I think the
history is WRONG.
