Hi All,

I subscribe to TBBeta DIGEST, so forgive me in advance if I reply to
anyone on the list out of threading because of missing message ID's in
the header for individual posts. I will describe my problem, and
likely just watch to see advice as it flows.

I have my TB! Options > Preferences set to view plain text messages in
fixed width fonts. Likewise, my composer is the Plain Text (MicroEd),
just like I am using right now. See screenshot for my current
settings:

Things begin to fall apart at this point. After I send this message,
and view it in the "Sent Mail" folder, it will show my plain text
signature not in plain text, but with Arial Grey Italics font, which
is the setting for my signatures in HTML Only messages. Why, oh why,
is this happening? See screenshot of the end signature in TBBeta
showing it's signature in Grey Arial Italics:

<http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b36/spinbaba/ascii_plaintext_italics_signature.png>

This occurs despite the header showing plain text us-ascii setting,
which is shown in the following screenshot:

<http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b36/spinbaba/ascii_plaintext_header.png>

If I send a copy of this message to myself, signing the entire text
using GnuPG 1.4.8, there will be NO AVAILABLE BUTTON to verify the
signature, and my signature will appear, once again, as Arial Grey
Italics ... the HTML signature setting. Why is this happening?

I apologise for the length of this description and the all of the
screenshots, but since I am on TBBeta DIGEST only I wanted to provide
as much information as possible, then just step aside and hope that
help comes along. I haven't changed any settings in the Viewer/Editor
since updating from 3.99.29 ... which had none of these HTML appearing
signatures nor missing GnuPG Verify Signature button on the preview
pane header bar.

Everything "looks fine" right now in the editor/email composer before
sending it away to the list. The signature and all of my message are
in plain text, fixed width font, Courier New. And lastly, a screenshot
of the end of this message showing it as it appears just prior to
sending it to the list:

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

Daniel
