Hallo Volker, VA> If you want to insert a special character via [Alt][Number], nothing VA> happens: E.g. [Alt][0174] -> ® VA> Any confirmations? confirmed. And other than that: if you have United States International keyboard configuration, and you are in the habit of constantly using the dead keys like ' and " on vowls like e, a, etc. they act very very strange: You get them double and NOT in combination with the vowl. Like: ''e or ""e instead of ... well, I can't make them anymore since the alt-combination neither works. Hope I explained it a bit. Bye the way... in the subject line I get a single ' instead of the double pair '' overhere! And deadkeys work there too!
