Hello, I upgraded to TheBat 4.07 yesterday, and I am getting crashes with this new version, everytime I call thebat.exe when the program is already running.
I use Mailwasher Pro to filter spam out of my mailbox before it is downloaded by TheBat. Therefore, after deleting the trash out of my inbox, TheBat.exe is called as "thebat.exe /NOLOGO /CHECKALL". This works fine the first time, when TheBat wasn't already running, but on the second time (and every attempt thereafter) I download new mail I get an access violation, very similar to the one reported by Jens Franik here before: "thebat.exe - Application Error The exception unkonwn software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b". After dismissing the error dialog, mail is downloaded normally. I can reproduce this error by just calling thebat.exe twice in a DOS box, without any parameters. Deleting the anti-virus plug-in didn't solve the issue. Needless to say that I didn't get this error with the former stable version I was using (3.98.4). Since June 2007 this is the first stable version where S/MIME seems to work (as I reported on BT), but unfortunately now I can't download mail without getting an error dialog on each attempt, unless I close TheBat first. So it seems that I have to downgrade again to version 3.98.4 ...
