Hello Uwe, US> There is nothing "wrong". Look and learn about modal dialogs, e.g. at US> http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialogfenster
I think the problem Jens is having stems from the option dialog not being "completely" modal -- you can do things some things in TheBat while the options dialog is open. I believe I recreated Jen's problem: - I opened up a message in a new window (double-clicked on it in the message list) - I opened up a second message in a third window (by double clicking on it in the message list) - I switched to the main application and opened up the modal options dialog. All actions with the main application window are now blocked. - Leaving the options dialog open, I then clicked on the first message window entry in the task bar, which brings the first message window to the foreground. - I hit SHIFT-F5, which pops open a "reply to" window, but it is replying to the second window I opened, and not the one I brought to the foreground. - The options dialog is still open I think this is a pretty rare situation and I'm not sure it's worth the effort to circumvent (when weighed against other desired changes), but I just wanted to say it *is* possible to use TheBat in limited capacity even when the modal options dialog is open. I believe the point Jens was trying to make (Jens please correct me if I'm mistaken) is the modality of the options dialog should disallow all activity in *all* TheBat windows and not just the main window; in doing so the situation of the wrong message getting replied to when hitting SHIFT-F5 is averted. On a different note.. I like the changes in 4 so far. :) -- James "A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing." -- Emo Philips "There are 10 types of people in the world.
