Correct.

1) Install 4.0.14 msi over existing version

2) Afterwards download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe)

3) Install this tiny program. the msicuu2.exe

4) De-install earlier versions of The Bat! from the Add/Remove routine using
this program. (Read carefully not to de-install other stuff. It'll be
definitely lost and unusuable - you'd have to re-install it.) Afterwards you
won't see the earlier versions anymore in the Add/Remove window.

They are not there anymore, but remember: you don't de-install any version of
The Bat!. You only really de-install the old entry/former entries in the
Add/Remove window.

Microsoft provides this CleanUp Utlity as a kind of last minute rescue because
installers can and do sometimes stay put (as entry or really!) instead of being
cleanly and completely removed with the program.

In any case before you do that you should make a backup of your complete main C
partition with Acronis True Image 11 or another really reliable program of that
kind!

Just in case...

Franz
