It is only clear if you look at such an unusual (at least to me and the way I've used windows for 20+ years) place. Determined to find it to see what you are talking about it only took me about a minute. I've never looked down there even in the new viewer to see about justification issues either, because there are a logically placed set of choices under the subject line. The only reason I've ever used the status bar to make changes in TB! is if I want to send HTML (rare) or change accounts (also rare now that I use one IMAP account which collects all my POP mail for me). But I will grant you that it is the only place to be able to simply tell about speller settings with the silly checkmark in the pull-down. -- Dwight A.
