At my place the messages are really selected. You can easily check it
by pressing Ctrl+C and copying this messages to an empty folder.
This said, it is a bit surprising that multiple messages are selected
by Ctrl+End. I guess that the Ctrl is interpreted like in
Ctrl+Mouseclick. And there it is normal Windows behaviour to select
multiple non-contiguous items.
But actually, I never used Ctrl+End in real use.
