I have tested it on two computers. I use MicroEd, and the same problem
occurs on both computers.

1. Click the Reply button for any message.

2. Copy some text from the new message, and scroll down to a new line
after the end of your new message.

3. Do a Ctrl+V (or paste by any other means).

I invariably get a "List index out of bounds" message. If this is
happening only to me - on both computers - I can only wonder why.
