From my *very* *personal* point of view I think, that the status bar
overcrowded:
1. Modified Flag => needless => should be removed
2. Caret Position => useful info => keep it where it is, altough the
width of this block could be reduced (now 10000:10000 would easily
fit in this block)
3. Insert/Overwrite => needless => should be removed
4. Selection Style => useful => keep it where it is
5. Automatic wrapping => basic setting (Options|Properties|…)
=> should be removed
6. Automatic formatting => see 5.
7. Jusitfy on automatic format = see 5.
8. Automatic spell check => useful => keep it where it is
9. Spell checker languages => Message Menu Spell Checker|Languages…
=> should be removed, because it expands more and more the more
languages are selected
10. Priority => useful info => keep it where it is
11. Request Delivery Confirmation => account setting (Templates|New
message) and Message Menu Options => should be removed
12. Request Reading Confirmation => see 11.
13. Active Account => useful info => keep it where it is
14. Text Format => neutral, Menu Options|Message Format => could be
removed
15. Character Set => neutral, Menu Options|Character set => could be
removed
16. Privacy and security => account setting (Option…) and Message
Menu Privacy => should be removed
17. Encrypt when completed => useful => keep it where it is
18. Sign when completed => useful => keep it where it is
Cheers!
