I have a lot of trouble with TLS connections since updating to 4.0.24: - on one of my accounts the self-signed certificate (even though installed and previously working fine) was not accepted anymore. Always got this error message: !25.04.2008, 11:22:28: IMAP - TLS handshake failure. Invalid server certificate (Signature match failed). !25.04.2008, 11:22:28: IMAP - Could not connect to the server !25.04.2008, 11:22:28: IMAP - 1: Server closed connection
- had to manually remove the certificate from the address book, in order to get asked by TB whether I want to trust this certificate (when checking mail the next time). I selected "add to trusted", and checking mail worked. - sending did not work, though! Similar error message. I had to remove the certificate from the address book and send an email in order to get the dialog that allows me to add the certificated to the trusted ones. Now sending works, but when receiving I get the same error message as above. -> I can only either send or receive mail, not both. One of them always gives me the error message, that the certificate is not ok, but doesn't ask me whether I want to add it to the trusted certificates. This needs to be fixed urgently!!! I cannot use my email account anymore. -- Best regards, Carsten ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 4.0.24.0 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
