Very wise advice, Peter.

message base and then do a fresh install of the current version.

When the fresh install is complete you discover that your previous
activation data is no longer valid and you must apply for a new one.  

Upon installation of the required new activation data and the
restoration of your message base you then discover that you only have
a trial copy of Voyager.

The above holds true if you even think of moving a working copy of
Voyager from one portable storage device to another.
