I am not sure this is the same issue, but I have been problems getting TB to start on my Vista laptop (I think due to a problem with the link in True Launch Bar I use to start it with). TB hangs during the splash screen with the following rather unhelpful error message, attached. When I click OK Vista tells me that TB has stopped working.
