Hello, I read about this problem - I personally wasn't affected by it.
This was what I did: I use the rar-packages from the beta downloads: http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/tb40283.rar They conatin only the executable file (thebat.exe) which you can copy into your programm directory.
