I had something like that, but only some folders. When i return to some folders, i am on Message Number 137 or something. I exported the Messages in UNIX Mailbox and deleted the folder (i left the filter Definition, which sorts to this folder untouched). Created the Folder new and imported the Messages (marked them read).
