on the 18th Oct i reinstalled Windows XP, i was using The Bat! 4.0.34.15 i think, the latest beta at the time
i backed up my mails and settings through The Bat built in backup when i reinstalled The Bat i installed 4.0.34 as it was the last MSI i had on this comp, when i restored the backup, everything appeared fine all my filters were back, all my mails settings, etc the only thing that wasnt back was my mails, if i go into a mailbox, it has all my folders, but no mails in them. then i remembered something about a new message base, so i put the latest beta (4.0.34.16) over the installed 4.0.34, still no mails showing if i go to C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Mail i can see all my mail account folders and sub folders, in the sub folders (inbox, outbox, sent, trash) all that is in all of them are 3 files MESSAGES.TBB 3 KB MESSAGES.TBI 16.4 KB MESSAGES.TBN 36.8 KB these are in every sub folder of the mail account, all are the same size did i mess up the backup or am i missing something really obvious here? how can i see my mails again
